SYNOPSIS: It has been five years since the disappearance of Katie and Hunter, and a suburban family witness strange events in their neighborhood when a woman and a mysterious child move in. REVIEW: It’s hard to believe it’s been 5 years since the first “Paranormal Activity” film graced movie screens nationwide. I remember seeing it on opening day & thinking that it wouldn’t be around too long, especially since there were only 8 people in … Continue reading
Trailer: Paranormal Activity 4 (2012) The 4th sequel to the franchise explores the legacy of the next door witches as a new family moves in
Cinema Verite, possibly a term we are hearing one too many times these days. Such is the style of filmmaking that simply involves a single POV, a handheld camera, and action that unfolds during the duration of the movie. It has also been associated with “found footage” films (though found is not always the case). This has been a trend for the last 2 years based primarily on the reality vision coming off TV fare. So horror … Continue reading

Ok, you found your way here looking for some clarity on the whole demon possession thing. Well I’m hear to tell ya…… I don’t type haphazardly (and rather consider the details) . The subject has been analyzed and evaluated to qualify and disqualify common misconceptions. First let’s be clear…demon possession is exactly that. That doesn’t mean possession if you “ARE” the antichrist (aka The Omen) that you are possessed, as therefore you’d be doing the … Continue reading

PARANORMAL PARODY follows one couple’s harrowing and hilarious adventures as they try to chronicle the odd things happening in their house and … Continue reading
SYNOPSIS: In 1988, young sisters Katie and Kristi befriend an invisible entity who resides in their home. REVIEW: Has it really been four years since the “Paranormal Activity” franchise began? It seems like I saw the first entry just last year but it was back in 2007 when director Oren Peli made a whole lot of people fearful of using their camcorders as they slept. Three years later, we got a dose of some more … Continue reading

A couple are pursued by an evil spirit in their own home. In an attempt to unveil the mystery, they install cameras throughout the house to capture the strange paranormal activity occurring.
Ok, don’t get too excited. Most PShop 101 students could drum this up without an effort. I’m guessing this little teaser is exactly that, as a TV screen 3 just doesnt pull at my heartstrings, yunno? News is still pending on WHAT this 3rd entry will entail. I’m guessing though a video camera will fall in there somewhere.
