Red Christmas wins Best Feature Film at Womans Only Entertainment Film Festival

Artsploitation Film’s ‘Red Christmas’ staring Dee Wallace wins Best Feature Film at Woman’s Only Entertainment Film Festival

In addition, Dee Wallace wins Best Actress in a Feature Film for her role of Diane in ‘Red Christmas’.

‘Red Christmas’ celebrates the tradition of holiday horror classics like, Gremlins, Christmas Evil, Silent Night Deadly Night, and Black Christmas, with it’s own sense of humor in spite of it’s dramatic theme.

Legendary Scream Queen, Dee Wallace (E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, Cujo, The Howling) embraces the role of a tough mother who is trying to hold her crazy family together over the Christmas holiday.

In a strange twist of faith, Dee’s past literally comes back to haunt her and possibly kill her in this unique throwback to the 1980’s slasher films that we’ve grown to love.

You better watch out because Cletus is coming to town and he bares the gift of a dark family secret.  This mysterious deformed stranger is about to weave a string of Christmas terror that horror fans will be talking about for years to come.

Director Craig Anderson tackles the controversial subject of abortion fearlessly and drops the issue dead center on Christmas Eve where there’s no turning back.

This movie has set the precedent for Australian horror films for all the reasons that we listed, plus large amounts of outlandish gore!

Merry Christmas To All and To All A Blood Covered Night!

Woman’s Only Entertainment Film Festival celebrates women’s accomplishments in the film industry both behind and in-front of the camera.  It’s about the importance of woman in the industry and making sure their efforts don’t go unnoticed.
