Film Review: Where is It (short film) (2017)

SYNOPSIS:

Two friends on a video call realize that one of them is not alone.

REVIEW:

Where Is It is a new horror short written and directed by Todd Spence and Zak White. The creative duo are also known for their horror short Your Date Is Here (2017). With a running time of just over three minutes, the team manages to pack an impressive amount of intensity and terror into Where Is It.

Em (Whitney Gries) has just returned from a trip and is on a video call with her friend Sara (Travina Springer), who took care of her house while she was away. Em lives in an old house and Sara tells her that an antique mirror that came with the house fell off the wall and broke. Since the mirror didn’t even belong to Em, it should be no big deal, right? Wrong!

When their video call begins to lag, they realize someone, or something, is trying to get their attention in a horrifying way. Watching Where Is It up close and personal on a personal computer adds to the tension and makes you feel like you’re part of the horror.

This short film only takes 3 minutes to watch, but wow, it is scary and definitely worth checking out! You can watch Where Is It on YouTube at the link below.

“It’s a simple question…and you better have the answer.”
