Oren Peli’s AREA 51 May Still See The Light Of Day

PARANORMAL ACTIVITY director Oren Peli’s sophomore effort, a film titled AREA 51 still hangs in limbo. It’s gone down a long, strange road and most of us have just figured at this point that it was dead and gone. Turns out that’s may not be the case.

While doing press for INSIDIOUS CHAPTER TWO Peli teammate Jason Blum says they are just “futzing” around with the flick. Here’s the quote:

β€œIt exists! We made it! We’re futzing with the movie in post production,” he explains. β€œParanormal Activity, remember, it was made about four years before it came out, so Oren [Peli] likes to tinker, and he’s still tinkering, but hopefully one day we’ll both see the finished version!”

The good news here is, if they are still messing around with it than chances are at some point we’re going to get to see it. Hopefully Mr. Peli will fidget with it enough to be happy with it and let us all see what he’s been working on.

Keep it here, I’ll keep you posted!
