Sean Leonard

Sean is an established punk rock drummer, a just-starting-but-already published fiction writer, a passable horror movie actor (by actor, we mean extra), and, of course, a horror writer/reviewer. But more than any of that, he's a fan at heart. If you watch a horror movie with him, he'll drive you crazy connecting actors and writers and directors to other actors and writers and directors. He lives in Kentucky with his horror-loving wife, his soon-to-be horror loving stepson (he has such sights to show him...once he gets older), and his dogs who could go either way on most horror movies, and yes, he does recognize that he is one lucky s.o.b.

Book Review: Fantastic Earth Destroyer Ultra Plus – Author Cameron Pierce

Sinister Grin Press is known for releasing some fantastically nasty, gruesome horror books from some equally fantastic and disturbing authors (Wrath James White, Nate Southard, Jack Ketchum, and Monica O’Rourke, to name just a few). So when I say that their newest release, Fantastic Earth Destroyer Ultra Plus, is an illustrated fairy tale for adults, don’t get the wrong idea. …

Film Review: Dard Divorce (2007)

Film Review: Nutbag (2000)

SYNOPSIS: A serial killer stalks prostitutes on the mean streets of Las Vegas. REVIEW: It is sometimes said that in an author’s first work, he or she often ends up spinning a highly personal and highly autobiographical tale as their inexperience can cause them to (inadvertently) fall back on what they know. I don’t know how this theorem translates over …

Clusterf*ck is one of five books released in 2013 by one of the most prolific authors of our time (including the highly praised Quicksand House), alongside five additional re-releases. Mellick has now released over forty books and shows no signs of slowing. He is often considered …

Book Review: The Summer Job – Author Adam Cesare

Adam Cesare is the horror author that fans of horror movies should love. He’s already got a Deodato-style cannibal novel (Tribesmen), an homage to 1980’s horror (Video Night), and even a Creepshow-esque collaboration with Matt Serafini (author of the werewolf novel Feral) called All-Night Terror. He has also written for Fangoria, a little horror magazine that may be familiar to …
