REVIEW:

More short films, kiddies! Today we have  ZOMBIPHOSATE, from Les Films Guacamole. The version I have is in french with no subtitles so I had to make the best of it.

Louise, Sam, Alain and Sophie go for a hike in the forest. There is some sort of news break on the radio that seems to be giving some sort of warning, but my French is really bad so not entirely certain what is said.

One of the people in the group is clearly concerned as they commune with nature, but the others don’t seem to agree.

Another person shows up, clearly warning them to leave. They don’t get a chance to do so, however, as they are attacked by environmental activists turned into zombies. Its a pleasant day out that goes most heinously wrong.

While I was not able to understand the dialogue, the story is clear. The effects are fun, and  the cinematography really serves to convey the panic and terror of our unfortunate hikers. If you find a version with subtitles, let me know what they said. Otherwise, its still well worth watching as the story is told without any real need for the words.
