Return to Return to Nuke ‘Em High aka Volume 2 is the second half of Lloyd Kaufman’s opus maximus that follows lesbian lovers Lauren and Chrissy though the mutant mayhem unleashed in Tromaville High, by corporate greed and contaminated tacos in the school cafeteria. Return to Nuke ‘Em High Volume 1, the first half of Kaufman’s 3 hour project was premiered by the Museum of Modern Art in the prestigious “Contenders Series” and described by The New York Times as, “powered by ribald bursts of bad taste and bodily fluid. Like Troma’s grand guignol classics The Toxic Avenger, Tromeo and Juliet, and Poultrygeist, Return to Return to Nuke ‘Em High aka Volume 2 is a cuisinart of satire and genres filled with graphic adult scenes and cartoon inspired gore.
