Partial Trailer for John Carpenter’s THE WARD

A strange little half-trailer popped up on youtube for John Carpenter’s THE WARD. In the trailer, that only runs for a little under a minute, a girl named Kristen sets fire to a house and then collapses. When she awakens she is in what appears to be a hospital, and there is something real bad wrong in the showers.

Starring Lyndsy Fonseca, Amber Heard, and Danielle Panabaker, John Carpenter’s THE WARD will be in theaters in the UK on January 21st 2011.

“John Carpenter’s THE WARD tells the story of Kristen, a young woman who finds herself held against her will in a remote ward of a psychiatric hospital. Sharing the ward with four disturbed young women, Kristen does not know why she is there, or where she came from. But she does know that she is not safe, and soon realizes that things are not what they seem. As one-by-one the other girls disappear, Kristen desperately struggles to escape, but in doing so makes a discovery far more horrific than anyone could have imagined.”
