Reports are coming in that writer/director/actor Harold Ramis has died.
The Chicago Tribune is reporting “he died at 12:53 a.m. from complications of autoimmune inflammatory vasculitis, a rare disease that involves swelling of the blood vessels.”
He was 69 years old. Ramis leaves a legacy of amazing work that I know shaped this movie fan into the person he is today. Genre fans of course will know him from his work on GHOSTBUSTERS And GHOSTBUSTERS 2 but he was the man behind many classic works including ANIMAL HOUSE, NATIONAL LAMPOON’S VACATION, STRIPES and GROUNDHOG DAY just to name a few.
He will be missed. HNN sends out their condolences to the family, friends and fans who mourn the passing of this truly amazing man.
