WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS Teams Up With FUNNY OR DIE To Take Over Sundance

The mockumentory WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS is gearing up for its big Sundance premiere and they’ve made what I consider to be a very wise choice and have teamed up with those crazy bastards at FUNNY OR DIE to get the word out about their project. I think it bodes well for the film since FUNNY OR DIE isn’t going to associate itself with a known stinker and they are going to going all out, adding their logo to the online ad campaign and all so lets talk about what we know about WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS.

The official line:

Consider the living quarters of vampires, and stodgy old castles in Transylvania may come to mind. But these aren’t your typical bloodsuckers. Viago (379 years old), Deacon (183 years old), Vladislav (862 years old), and Peter (8,000 years old) have chosen to share a flat in Wellington, New Zealand. Unfortunately for them, it’s hard to make new friends due to their constant thirst for blood. Without any mortal chums left to invite them in to all of the hip establishments around town, they’ve lost touch with the current social scene. Can these creatures of the night put aside their differences as roommates and adapt to modern society?
Jemaine Clement, Taika Waititi, Jonathon Brugh, Cori Gonzalez-Macuer, and Stu Rutherford all lend their acting talents and I have a feeling it won’t be long till we are all checking out this little number. Got some pics to share as well so enjoy!
