VIRUS OF THE DEAD is the brainchild of Tony Newton, who will be directing the segment, “Cam Girl”, starring Mhairi Calvey, who recently returned to acting after nearly 20 years since her debut film role in Mel Gibson’s Braveheart. Other filmmakers involved include Ryan Nicholson (Gutterballs) and James Cullen Bressack (Blood Lake: Attack Of The Killer Lampreys). VIRUS OF THE DEAD stars 27-year-old Kathryn Eastwood (daughter of Clint Eastwood) in Shane Ryan’s segment “American Virus”, and is joined, in other segments, by a whole host of genre faces including Shawn C. Phillips (Grave Encounters 2, Camp Massacre), Jessica Ann Bonner (Devil’s Tower), Julian Seager (She’s Dead), Nathan Head (Exorcist Chronicles, Theatre Of Fear), Thomas Downey (Frankenstein Reborn, The Burning Dead) and Shane Ryan (Jurassic City).
