Marilyn Manson’s Alice project ain’t looking so good right now. The synopsis: A haunted writer in an isolated castle is tormented by sleepless nights and visions of a girl named Alice.
He finds himself becoming a symptom of his own invention. NME, the studio that is bringing Manson’s crazy project to life isn’t too keen on his creepy haunted visions he had imagine for the flick titled Phantasmagoria.
The following was said: “The studio behind the project have shut it down following a backlash to the teaser trailer which was shown online.”
and:
” The trailer caused such a backlash that a decision was made to close down the project. It’s unlikely it will ever see the light of day.”

i think that this is absolutely preposterous. me and my best friend have been waiting for this movie since 2005. people need to just calm down and let the lord do his bidding. if Marilyn Manson wants to make a movie of his own expression how could it be any different than James Cameron, or Steven speildburg, or m. night shyamalan? his expression might not be for the feint of heart, but people should expect that when they see ‘Marilyn Manson’. right? if they know what he is about then why take the time to see it just so you can raise a ‘backlash’. its your own fault who ever you are, that you were offended by what you saw. you should have seen it coming.if im not mistaken there are quotes online stating ” “This teaser also features real-life twin sisters engaging in questionable acts and burlesque superstar Dita Von Teese in artistic, full-nude. ” you shouldn’t have ruined it for the rest of us. Marilyn Manson, you are an artistic genius and you should continue in your work. people like me have that faith in you.
