Trailer: A New TV Spot For SUPER 8

SUPER 8 is probably the one flick I am most looking forward to seeing this summer movie season. It just has the right mix for me. Love the coming of age horror flicks and this one looks to be a big one. With the powerhouse team of director J.J. Abrams and producer Steven Spielberg this one has blockbuster written all over it. Time will tell that tale but if I was a betting man my money would be on “sure fire hit”.

I think you’ll agree once you take a look at this new TV spot that Paramount let loose and you all should be seeing between your favorite shows on cable very soon. SUPER 8 is still a ways off with an opening date of June 10th but it will be here before we know it and this should just be the start of what is sure to be a kick ass press campaign.

Here’s the official synopsis and that TV spot follows:
“In the summer of 1979, a group of friends in a small Ohio town witness catastrophic train crash while making a super 8 movie and soon suspect that it was not an accident. Shortly after, unusual disappearances and inexplicable events begin to take place in town, and the local Deputy tries to uncover the truth – something more terrifying than any of them could have imagined.”
