Karan remembers his loving moments with his wife Meera and he misses her terribly. But is it his dream or is there a mystery to it. Love Eternal is a story about love, passion and sorrow
Another short film, folks. Today we have LOVE ETERNAL from Forte Films, written and directed by Matthew Forte and Arriana Vasquez.
This black and white film shows us the final confrontation between Dracula (Alfonso Marquez) and Jonathan Harker (Adam Ginsberg) as they battle for the soul and heart of dear Mina (Felicia Garcia).
This is a pretty straight forward story, with the viewer entering into events just as the confrontation is about to begin.
It’s a very sweet film, and from a story telling perspective it is successful. However, the sound is kind of a mess, and if the costuming is supposed to be period it is most definitely not. Still, the actors present well. The music score is lovely. Visually, the filmmakers chose a really nice location and the camera work is good. If one has an appreciation of the traditional vampire stories and legends, it does have an appeal.
I don’t hate it, but I don’t love it either.
So using my special “short scale” of one to five, five being awesome, I’m giving this film 2 stakes.
