For far too long, monsters, zombies, ghouls, freaks and goblins have roamed the Boardwalk, aimlessly searching, searching for a place to gather and tell their stories, and now, that day has come. The weird, the odd, the BIZARRE, all gather for a weekend of entertainment, education, commerce and camaraderie as we celebrate all things horror and beyond, the first weekend of its kind in the history of Atlantic City, NJ.
Hosted by Tropicana Casino & Resort Atlantic City, Bizarre AC drags its tattooed and pierced limbs onto the famed Atlantic City Boardwalk on Friday, December 13 from 5pm-10pm, Saturday December 14 from 12pm-10pm and Sunday, December 15, 12pm-5pm. Admission is $20 for a one-day pass, $30 for a two-day pass and $40 for a three-day pass. An adult must accompany anyone under the age of 16. Kids under 10 get in free with a parent or guardian as long as they don’t bite. Discounts are available for purchases in advance.
The inaugural Bizarre AC kicks off a strange and curious weekend at Tropicana Casino and Resort, featuring a variety of interactive components, a Bizarre cast of characters along with some of the most entertaining and outlandish band of misfits you’ll ever set eyes on.
Event attendees will find the hours fly by as they walk and shop with the unique exhibitors of the Bizarre Bazaar as amazement and shock describe some of the emotions fans will experience while freaks and geeks from around the globe command the stage in Bizarre AC’s Sideshow gathering and Hall of Oddities. Horror movie aficionados can take part in movie screenings, complete with Q&A’s, and the chance to delve into the minds of some of the up-and-coming film-makers.
Saturday, December 14th offers event goers the opportunity to show off their best monster, zombie, alien or creature, in the first-ever Bizarre AC Costume Contest and a chance to win cash and prizes. If that wasn’t enough, join chefs and culinary personalities in a one-of-a-kind dining experience in Bizarre Bites. The weekend’s programming will have attendees groaning for more.
