Kirsten Vangsness from Criminal Minds stars in Vampire Mob
LOS ANGELES (August 18, 2010) – Kirsten Vangsness, who plays Penelope Garcia on “Criminal Minds,” gets in an argument with a vampire/hitman in the latest episode of the independent comedy, “Vampire Mob,” a web series with cast members from “The Simpsons” and “Boardwalk Empire.”
“Vampire Mob” – He’s a hitman and a vampire, and he just found out his mother-in-law is moving in, for eternity.
Don became a vampire and immortal because “it was a good fit” for his nocturnal life of crime. He never planned on biting his wife, Annie, “but then I got hungry.” Annie felt bad that her mom would die one day and bit her, never discussing it with Don, and now mom needs a place to stay and blood to drink.
Marcia Wallace (The Simpsons, The Bob Newhart Show) is Don’s newly minted vampire/mother-in-law, Virginia. One of her two daughters Laura is played by Kirsten Vangsness (Criminal Minds) and Jim Roof (“Murderabilia”) is Laura’s always uncomfortable husband, Rob.
The role of hitman and vampire, Don Grigioni, is filled by John Colella (CSI: NY, The West Wing), who will also be seen in the upcoming Sebastian Guitierrez film “Girl Walks Into a Bar,” premiering on YouTube, and starring Carla Gugino, Rosario Dawson, Danny DeVito, and Zach Quinto. Don’s wife, Annie, is played by Reamy Hall (General Hospital, Bowfinger) who guest starred this past season on “Criminal Minds” and will also be seen in “Girl Walks Into a Bar.”
In “You can’t choose your family,” the second and most recent episode of “Vampire Mob,” tempers erupt in a heated discussion about who mom should live with, which can only be seen on the web – http://www.VampireMob.com.
