PULSE FILMS STARTS PRODUCTION ON NICOLAS CAGE AND ALEX WOLFF STARRER ‘PIG’
Global content studio Pulse Films accelerates its Scripted Film slate by kicking off production on new feature PIG starring Oscar®-winning actor Nicolas Cage and Hereditary star Alex Wolff.
Written and to be directed by Michael Sarnoski, the script is based on a story by Sarnoski and Vanessa Block, who will also produce.
PIG tells the story of a truffle hunter (Cage) who lives alone in the Oregonian wilderness. When his beloved foraging pig is kidnapped, he must journey into Portland – and his long-abandoned past – to recover her.
Production on the film began on September 23rd 2019 in Oregon.
Pulse Films, BlockBox Entertainment, Valparaiso Pictures and Cage’s Saturn Pictures are producing in association with Escape Artists and Sweet Tomato Films. The film will be majority financed by Len Blavatnik’s AI Film with co-finance from Sweet Tomato Films & Escape Artists. Endeavor Content will represent the project’s worldwide rights.
Vanessa Block, Dimitra Tsingou, Thomas Benski, Ben Giladi, David Carrico, Adam Paulsen, Dori Rath, Joseph Restaino, Steve Tisch and Nicolas Cage will produce.

Cage most recently starred in the Sundance hit title MANDY, directed by Panos Cosmatos. Upcoming titles include PRISONERS OF THE GHOSTLAND directed by Sion Sono and TIFF title COLOR OUT OF SPACE by Richard Stanley.
