Rotten Tomatoes returns with its Spooktacular Scare Central hub, the frighteningly fun destination for all your Halloween viewing needs

s the leaves begin to fall and the zombies begin to rise, Rotten Tomatoes shares this year’s Scare Central hub containing a variety of content to get you into the Halloween spirit. To start off the season, Rotten Tomatoes is sharing its list of the Best Horror Movies of 2022, with some of this year’s favorites, including Nope, Bodies Bodies Bodies, and The Black Phone, and recommendations for 20 Horror Films to Look Forward to This Fall, including Smile, Don’t Worry Darling, and Hocus Pocus 2.

Whether you prefer the classic family-friendly Halloween flick or the pulse-racing psychological horror, Rotten Tomatoes has you covered with their curated new lists throughout the month of September, including Best Horror Movies of All Time, Best Horror Movies Directed by Women, Best Horror TV Shows, Worst Horror Movies and Essential Kids Halloween Movies. 

October will bring even more eerie and hair-raising content, with lists ranking films from iconic  franchises such as Halloween, Friday the 13th, Nightmare of Elm Street, Alien, and Childs Play (Chucky); roundups of Best Horror Movies by Decade spanning the 1950s, ‘60s, ‘70s, ‘80s, ‘90s, 2000s and 2010s; spotlights on content from spine-chilling movie directors like Dario Argento, David Cronenberg, Wes Craven, George A. Romero, and Guillermo del Toro; lists of films by popular Halloween genres, including werewolves, vampires, zombies, and slashers; and compilations of the best films by country from Australia, Japan, Italy, France and Korea.
