When a team of U.S. Marshals are charged with protecting mob-trial witness Cate Vale and her introspective teenage daughter, Alice they relocate them to an isolated compound high in the Californian Rockies. The location appears secure; outfitted specifically for witness protection, yet its past is steeped in mystery and violence – a sanctuary that rests at the heart of an unspeakable horror that is about to descend upon the world.

A new movie starring Lena Headey (“Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles”),Michael Ironside (“Terminator Salvation”) , Kate Mara, and Michael Trucco is in development now. Sources close the film are describing it as a combination of “Assault on Precinct 13 and The Thing.” It is described as a creature feature which sounds interesting enough. The film itself is being direct by Simon Hunter whose previous work is the less than spectacular Mutant Chronicles. However hope is not lost because the script is written by Andy Briggs (“Ghost Town,” “Jericho”) with monster work being provided by “District 9” veterans Image Engine. While not much else is known yet it does sounds like a fun idea with some cool monsters.
