The Rocky Horror Picture Show Shadow Cast

The Frank Banko Alehouse Cinema

Steel Stacks by ArtsQuest

The Last Friday of every month.

Last night was a blast at SteelStacks in Bethlehem, Pa. Spaced Out Sensations is The Rocky Horror Picture Show Shadow cast. They put on another exceptional show. After all these years of doing the Time Warp, and watching The Rocky Horror Picture Show, I’ve never seen it with a shadow cast. CRAZY right, I know. I went last month with my friend and Roxanne Frei.

Before the show started the cast had a scavenger hunt for the “virgins.” The new-comers that have never seen The Rocky Horror Picture Show without a Shadow cast. The scavenger hunt was done right in the theater. They also wished the creator extraordinaire Richard O’Brien a Happy Birthday. They gave out prizes and everyone had a blast.

The cast is amazing, they truly get into everything. They have props and costume changes. They sell prop bags for $2.00. We got prop bags last night. Myself, Roxanne, and our new friend Doe. If you are ever in the Lehigh Valley area, I recommend checking out The Rocky Horror Picture Show, the last Friday of the month.

Okay, let’s talk Rocky Horror Picture Show. It was directed by Jim Sharman, written by Richard O’Brien and Jim Sharman. It was Richard O’Brien’s birthday. It was released in 1975, and starred Tim Curry as Dr. Frank-N-Furter, Susan Sarandon as Janet, Barry Bostwick as Brad Majors, Richard O’Brien as Riff Raff, Patricia Quinn as Magenta, Nell Campbell as Columbia, Jonathan Adams as Dr. Everett V. Scott, Peter Hinwood as Rocky Horror, Charles Gray as The Criminologist, and Meatloaf as Eddie.

Matt K. portrayed Dr. Frank-N-Furter, he took his role to the next level. He matched Tim Curry’s movements, his full-on attitude, the fun he has in the film. The other cast members included: Banana (aka Nikki L.), Thuban Windrider, Clint W., and more. The cast was incredible. The Rocky Horror Picture Show is a film that should continue with its legacy. The age-range and audience members varied. It was such a fun crowd. People were courtesy as always, the staff at SteelStacks is always wonderful.

So next month, and every last Friday of the month, you can go to Steel Stacks and see Spaced Out Sensations, The Rocky Horror Picture Show – Shadow Cast.
