“THE GREEN INTERNO IS LIKE A GLORIOUS THROWBACK TO THE DRIVE-IN MOVIES OF MY YOUTH: BLOODY, GRIPPING, HARD TO WATCH, BUT YOU CAN’T LOOK AWAY”
– Stephen King, @StephenKing

An international goodwill mission goes terrifyingly wrong in The Green Inferno, the highly anticipated return to classic cult horror from iconic director Eli Roth (Cabin Fever, Hostel 1&2 ), available on Digital HD December 22, 2015 and Blu-ray™ and DVD as well as On Demand on January 5, 2016, from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment. The Green Inferno is a gruesomely spectacular journey into the heart of darkness that will have audiences on the edge of their seats.

New York college student Justine (Lorenza Izzo) meets student activist Alejandro (Ariel Levy) when he goes on a hunger strike on behalf of underpaid janitors. Smitten, she agrees to help Alejandro undertake his next project: rescuing an Amazon village from destruction by a greedy multinational corporation. But Justine soon comes to regret her decision when their plane crashes in the Peruvian jungle and the students realize they are not alone. No good deed goes unpunished as the well-meaning students are captured by the cannibalistic tribe they came to save.

The first feature film directed by Roth since Hostel: Part II, The Green Inferno stars Lorenza Izzo (Aftershock, “Hemlock Grove”), Ariel Levy (The Stranger, Best Worst Friends), Aaron Burns (The Stranger, Best Worst Friends) and Kirby Bliss Blanton (Project X, Candy From Strangers). The screenplay is by Eli Roth and Guillermo Amoedo (Knock Knock, Aftershock).

BLU-RAYTM and DVD BONUS FEATURES
Feature Commentary – With co-writer, director and producer Eli Roth, producer Nicolás López, and stars Lorenza Izzo, Aaron Burns, Kirby Bliss Blanton, and Daryl Sabara

  1. the ain girl lives at the end , a girl has a diarrhea crap , one girl cuts her own neck , another guy materbates on himself , very stupid movie , the main girl get away at the end , and yeah your wasting your time and its not that gorey at all , very dumb

    • there is nothing , special about this movie , a guy gets hacked up and gets his head chopped , arms and legs , and its so fake looking , that its not even necessary , Eli Roth has the dumbest movies , no sense at all to them , and nothering good even remotely happens until near the end of his movies , its very dumb , stupid actors , all it is is cussing that is all so much of it and being stupid , it has no point to the movie , just like all Eli Roths other movies , cabin fever , was almost close to good , but ridiculous , way over rated , and not that gorey , a guy cuts the other guys limbs off and then eats an eyeball ? who cares , very dumb whoever gave Eli a directors or even to operate a film , is very dumb , this movie made 10 million at box office , and that is so low budget , suprised it goet into theatres , your not missing anything , except your cash after you watch

    • the girl who lives at the end is Eli’s wife lol

  2. Hit film…since when!

  3. If you really want to know something very scary , is how stupid somsone would be to think that this is remotely good , haha your outta luck with that

  4. It sucked assholes, and I waited to see it with good intentions for so f*cking long

  5. Picture…. Box says Director’s Cut!!! More footage????

  6. FAILURE OF A MOVIE , if you want to spend 10 – 20 bucks on this movie , your better off , giving that money to a homeless person and help them out

  7. Anyone see Knock Knock? Holy sh*t, Eli Roth is a f*cking horrendous director and his stories are f*cking garbage. Cabin Fever was his only piece of worth seeing film.

  8. < Knock Knock also was just terrible , specially near the end , and to get K Reeves in a movie , he must have drugged him or something , that movie was just funny actually , no good acting at all , and no point

  9. < If you want to see something better then this , get naked , walk around with a huge Hard on , and go into a mcdonalds and just rip ass , like bad

  10. It sucked. Expected a bit more from Eli. Thank god I had free movie passes. Oh yah, next time, get actors that can actually act in ur movie. Sad sad!

  11. Searing hit? This flick was a flop by almost every standard.

  12. It dropped on bluray? It should be dropped into the trash. Glad I just watched it free online instead of paying. Horrible flick.

  13. “Searing”? That’s a hell of a reach.

  14. Shit film. Shit director.

  15. Over hyped from the second it was given a release date…
Endless posts about this film got very boring very quickly and oh what a surprise the film was sh*t and has flopped…..
But then hostel was alot of overated crap too…. Eli roth is a hit or miss director. More often miss.
    All hype no substance….
Obviously Eli went to the same directors College as M Night Shittyman

I’ll be checking out this movie, soon. Watched Knock Knock last night. Great, some what unintentional humour from Keanu.

  17. Can’t wait!

  18. Garbage boring movie

  19. After waiting a long to watch this movie I was disappointed, big let down for me and won’t buy it

  20. Michael Scott

Compared to 95% of the boring horror GARBAGE that comes out calling itself HORROR today on cable and in theaters… I’m sure that even bad ROTH films are better than sh*t like Ouija, Jessebelle, Insidious 3 and Paranormal 5, etc… So I plan to see GREEN INFERNO when it comes out on blu-ray because it can’t possibly be worse than all this other PG-13 rayed horror crap… That’s a guarantee!! (Anyway it will be fun to see how much stuff Roth stole from the great cannibal horror classics by Lenzi and Deodato like their “CANNIBAL HOLOCAUST” & “CANNIBAL FEROX”)
