Thomas J. Churchill, the director of The Emerging Past, Lazarus: Apocalypse, and the upcoming Check Point, recently appeared at the Born to Ride TV & Magazine 20th Anniversary Party, which was held at the Harley Davidson of Brandon dealership in Tampa, Florida. Also appearing at the event was actress Krista Grotte, who also appeared in Mr. Churchill’s Lazarus: Apocalypse, and will play the character of Libby in Check Point.
Check Point has received a lot of good word-of-mouth at the American Film Market last month, and if the film’s trailer is any indication of what the film promises, it looks intense and intriguing. The film is poised to be released in 2016. Starring veteran character actor favorite William Forsythe (Halloween), Bill Goldberg (The Longest Yard), Kenny Johnson (Bates Motel), Tyler Mane (X-Men), Kane Hodder (Hatchet), Mel Novak (Samurai Cop 2: Deadly Vengeance) and many more, Check Point deals with the perils of protecting the US homeland.
