Hey, is that tears of blood rolling down her face on the cover? Well I’m sure that isn’t due to the another issue of “Creepy Images” being released, as this extra loaded addition is a definite keeper.

Sure, there is not alot of editorial but that’s what makes it so cool. We get reproductions of lost, hard to find and otherwise hidden relics from public art, lobby cards and promo materials for films that many of us may have not seen either. Slick glossy stock, small compact format, this is perfect for that take along and check out in the train station visit. Creepy images hails from Germany but is written in English (just in case your wondering) The posters within sport names and alternatives that may allude a few of you but look awfully familiar. The web site summarizes the contents which is just fine by me.

Lucio Fulci’s unforgettable gore fest is featured with some eye popping shots. Named as “Ein Zombie hing am Glockensil”, we just like to call it by its 80’s name of “Gates of Hell”. Yep that one with the priest that hung himself and causes young ladies to bleed from the eyes or puke there guts out. It features a very hard to find “drill to the head” lobby pic and some really creepy possessed demon zombie shots. “Bui Omega” was another classic of disturbing nature that us folk will see floating around under the title “City of the Living Dead”. Creepy Images” – writer Jeremy Mincer takes us on a trip with his love for the Italian horror genre of Giallo, among its main genre contributors being Dario Argento & Mario Bava. Other chapters of interest feature poster art and erotic shots for “Vampyres” the famed erotic horror masterpiece and more hard to finds from the “Blind Dead” series. The issue closes out with some cool art for “Plague oF the zombies”.

Creepy Images, I hope will be around for awhile, they release issues on a non standard schedule but they still manage to get them out. Show them some support and let’s hope they stick around for a long time. The next issue should be out in October, my kind of month for horror!
