Updated info for BEFORE THE MASK

BEHIND THE MASK: THE RISE OF LESLIE VERNON was arguably one of the best, most original horror movies of the last decade. You can count me in as agreeing with that one. I still find myself tossing in the DVD from time to time. Great movie that just never quite got the love it deserved and news of a second film in the series has been circulating for the last few years.

So, last weekend at the Creation Weekend of Horrors the folks behind the film all got together for one of those film panels and talk of the prequel inevitably arose. Seems like most everything is in place to get this baby rocking with the notable exception of money. Yep, ain’t that always the case.

What to do? What to do? Why, appeal to the fans and hope to get their help in flitting the bill, that’s what.

A FACEBOOK page has shown up where you can see the video below with Leslie himself explaining things. Long and short of it is they are looking for us fans to pony up and buy some advance material for the film there by giving them the green to get this thing off the ground.
