New True Blood YouTube Video

A new video was posted to the True Blood YouTube channel http://www.youtube.com/user/trueblood and in it members of the cast were asked about the upcoming season at a comic book signing. Sam Trammell who plays Sam Merlotte on the show hinted at a new love interest for his character, and that the shifting community will be explored in the new season. Rutina Wesley, mentions that her character Tara Thornton will become “a new Tara” by toughening up in Season Four, and will not be so terrorized as she was in the past. Deborah Ann Woll talks about Jessica Hamby’s struggle to discover a balance between her vampire side and her human side. She promises that in this season viewers will see Jessica displaying more of a flirtation with the vampire side.

Season Four of True Blood will begin airing with a new episode on Sunday, June 12, 2011, on HBO.
