BECKY Tops $1 MILLION at Domestic Box Office – Starring Lulu Wilson, Kevin James and Joel McHale

Quiver Distribution and Redbox Entertainment are excited to announce that the thriller BECKY crossed $1 million in box office revenue this week.

“We are living in strange times when we celebrate a film grossing $1 million at the U.S. Box Office” said Berry Meyerowitz & Jeff Sackman, Co-Presidents of Quiver Distribution. “Given the current marketplace, the combination of an immensely entertaining film with amazing actors, coupled with our distribution capability, allows us to feel very proud of this achievement.”

BECKY, which was a selection at this years Tribeca Film Festival, opened in 50 theaters and drive-ins throughout the country and on Digital and On Demand on June 5, 2020. 

 Written by Nick Morris (The Evil Eye), Ruckus Skye and Lane Skye (The Devil to Pray, Rattle the Cage) and directed by Cary Murnion and Jonathan Milott (Cooties, Bushwick), BECKY stars Lulu Wilson (Annabelle: Creation), Kevin James (Paul Blart: Mall Cop, Hitch, The King of Queens), Amanda Brugel (Hulu’s “The Handmaid’s Tale”), Robert Maillet (Sherlock Holmes) and Joel McHale (Community”).  The film is produced by Jordan Beckerman, Jordan Yale Levine and Russ Posternak from Yale Productions, and J.D. Lifshitz and Raphael Margules from Boulderlight Pictures.

 In the film, spunky and rebellious Becky (Wilson) is brought to a weekend getaway at a lake house by her father Jeff (McHale) in an effort to try to reconnect. The trip immediately takes a turn for the worse when a group of convicts on the run, led by the merciless Dominick (James), suddenly invade the lake house.
