SYNOPSIS:
We all had a pet growing up whether it was a goldfish, dog, or a turtle, but this boy owns a different kind of pet. A strange pet that has an unusual appetite. One night after feeding his pet it starts acting bizarre.
REVIEW:
More short films, Kiddies! Today we have MY PET NORMAN, written and directed by Andrew Pledger as an entry for the “My Rode Reel” contest. I don’t know a lot about that, but it seems to be a competition for a commercial using a type of audio equipment.
So forget ET. Forget Mac and Me. Forget My Favorite Martian. Our hero in this short tale has a “norman”, whatever that is. And it really likes Snicker bars. And it also doesn’t have a lot of patience.
According to the opening narration, things started out ok with his new pet but something changed. Not for the better, by the way. Seems norman has a different perspective on their relationship.
There’s not much to this film, as it is super short, but its cute. Not sure what else to say about it beyond that.
