Too scary to be cute; too cute to be truly scary. Horror buffs, otaku and lovers of gothic fashion should keep their eyes peeled at this month’s MCM Expo London Comic Con with the news that Yurei Urie is bringing an exclusive addition to her spookily awesome Little Apple Dolls range to the show.
The famed artist and creator will be signing the new doll, Supernae, which is available in extremely limited in numbers with fewer than 50 ever to be produced. Located at the Screaming Matriarch booth, Yurei will also be signing some of the older dolls from her Little Apple Dolls Series 2.
Show visitors can also enter Screaming Matriarch’s special MCM Expo raffle for the chance to win a limited edition signed Supernae doll with original artwork by Yurei, plus a second prize of a complete signed set of Series 2 dolls.
Yurei’s creepily cute characters represent children who have died and now wander a world known as The Inbetween, with each of the dolls coming with an illustrated story booklet detailing how they came to walk that realm.
