“THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS” STAR BROOKE SMITH @ BUFFALO BILL’S HOUSE FOR FILM SCREENING & GUIDED HOUSE TOURS

For one weekend, Sept 18-20, Brooke Smith, the actress who played victim Catherin Martin in the five-time Academy award winning film, The Silence of the Lambs, will return to “Buffalo Bill’s House,” to meet fans to celebrate the 35^th anniversary of the film. Brooke, the “girl in the well” in the movie, filmed her specific scenes on location at the house in Perryopolis, PA.

Chris Rowan, owner of Buffalo Bill’s House, will be conducting a live Q&A with Brooke on Saturday, Sept. 19^th at the house where the original film will be screened outside for a one night only ticketed event.

RETURNS TO BUFFALO BILL’S HOUSE FOR A FILM SCREENING & GUIDED TOURS FOR ITS 35TH ANNIVERSARY AT THE HISTORIC FILM LOCATION

Location: Fayette County, Perryopolis, PA  — In celebration of the 35^th anniversary of the iconic film, “The Silence of the Lambs,” Brooke Smith, the actress who infamously played the unforgettable role as captured victim, Catherine Martin, in the five-time Academy Award winning film, will return to visit Buffalo Bill’s House, the real film location where the climax to the iconic film was shot.  The house is located in Fayette County in the heart of Perryopolis, PA.

This is currently the ONLY 35^th anniversary event that Brooke is doing this year in relation to the film, making it an extra special one-of a-kind event. The film was released on February 14,1991.

WHAT:  For the first time, “The Silence of the Lambs” will be screened on the grounds of the house, along with a LIVE Q&A with Brooke Smith. Chris Rowan, owner of Buffalo Bill’s House, will host the Q&A with Brooke in the yard, and take questions from the fans for her to answer.

WHEN: The screening will take place on Saturday, September 19^th from 6:30PM-9:30pm and is one night only.

WHERE: Buffalo Bill’s House, 8 Circle Street, Perryopolis, PA 15473

NOTE: This is a ticketed-only event. The house is located on private property. Please secure a ticket online in advance of the event. (Very limited day of tickets may be available.)

The outdoor event is rain or shine. Guests must bring their own lawn chairs or blankets to watch the movie. 

Fans are also able to purchase autographs & photos during a meet and greet with Brooke Smith throughout the entire weekend of September 18 – 20 (multiple time slots are available). All guests will receive a full guided tour of Buffalo Bill’s House and the opportunity to meet actress Brooke Smith, who played Buffalo Bill’s captured victim Catherine Martin. Brooke will be signing 8×10 autographs & memorabilia and taking pictures with tour guests (for an additional fee).  There will even be a special add-on with Brooke for the “Silence” superfan who wants an ‘in the well’ photo with Brooke dressed as her character Catherine Martin.

Tours will be personally conducted by Buffalo Bill’s House owner, Chris Rowan. During the exclusive tours, intimate groups of guests will be able to visit the home in its entirety as well as the sprawling property.  Tours will last approximately two hours in length.
