Exhumed Films is immensely excited to present one of our biggest shows of all time! For years, exploitation fans everywhere have been dying to see the complete director’s cut of Kill Bill. Now, thanks to a special arrangement between Exhumed Films and Quentin Tarantino, they have that chance! On June 21 and 22, Exhumed and International House Philadelphia will screen Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair. With a running time of nearly 4 1/2 hours, this is Tarantino’s preferred cut of the film and comes from his private collection. Fans of the original (and separately released) films Kill Bill Vol.1 and Kill Bill Vol. 2 will be awed by the epic scope of this unified version, which features extended sequences, some altered & additional footage, and-perhaps most importantly-extra blood, gore, and severed body parts!

The 35mm print we will be screening–the only one in existence-was shown at Cannes in 2006 and in limited engagement in Los Angeles in 2011. A planned DVD release has been postponed for the last several years, and this version of the film has never appeared in any other format. The ONLY way you’re likely to see Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair anytime soon is with Exhumed Films! We are proud that we are able to bring a cinematic event of this magnitude to the Philadelphia community.

Exhumed Films and The International House will be presenting two rare screenings of the film on Friday, June 21 and Saturday, June 22, at 7:30pm (Doors at 6:45pm). Admission is $20 or $17 for IHP members. Online tickets for this and other Exhumed Films events, including the 12 hour exploitation festival “eX-Fest” in May (which fans of Tarantino’s works should absolutely attend!), are available through Ticketfly and from the International House box office.
