Iconic Series Awarded ‘Best DVD Television Release’ By Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films
‘Image Entertainment proudly announces that the Twilight Zone Seasons 1 & 2 Blu-ray won the Saturn Award for “Best DVD Television Release at tonight’s 37th Annual Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films ceremony. Marc Scott Zicree, author, THE TWILIGHT ZONE COMPANION and co-producer of THE TWILIGHT ZONE BLU-RAY sets, and Ray Gagnon, Executive Vice President, Sales, Image Entertainment, accepted the award presented in Burbank, CA.

Twilight Zone Seasons 1 & 2 Blu-ray took the top honor among a celestial group of nominees including “Lost The Complete Sixth and Final Season, “The Six Million Dollar Man: The Complete Collection, “Space 1999: The Complete Season One Blu-ray, “Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea Season 4, Volume 2 and another Image release, “Thriller: The Complete Series. The Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films was founded in 1972 by Dr. Donald A. Reed to recognize and honor excellence among filmmakers in the science fiction, fantasy, horror and action/adventure/thriller film genres.
