‘The Dead Rose:’ Production Begins On Indie Thriller Starring Frank Stallone, ‘Eric Roberts and Andrew Divoff.

Cameras have started rolling in Los Angeles & in Denver on The Dead Rose, an indie Thriller from writer-director Jimmy Drain and starring Frank Stallone, Eric Robert’s and Andrew Divoff.

The film’s synopsis reads:

Stallone takes on the role of Bishop Cybo, a steadfast Catholic prelate entrusted with guarding an ancient dagger—an artifact so powerful that, in the wrong hands, it could unleash global devastation. As darkness closes in, Cybo must protect his close friend Robby Duray (Drain), who is spiraling through a personal crisis and battling the emergence of a terrifying diabolic alter ego.With time running out, Cybo is thrust into a dangerous fight to join Robby and stop a ruthless Satanic cult led by the enigmatic “Kandle” (Divoff), whose apocalyptic ambitions threaten the fate of the world.

Blending intense suspense with bold, ripped-from-the-headlines themes, The Dead Rose confronts modern issues including racial tensions and the growing threat of child trafficking—painting a chilling portrait of a society on the edge, while delivering a powerful message of redemption.
