TERROR FILMS RELEASINGAcquires Worldwide Rights to,“JIM’S ROOM”
TERROR FILMS RELEASINGhas teamed with director Zac Kingto release his foundfootage horror film,“Jim’s Room”.
Starring King and the film’s writer, Michael Masurkevitch, the film follows Jim, ahomeless man who must face his demons to escape the perverted sadist who films him in aremote house under the pretense of offering him a job.
King shared his thoughts about the making of the film:
“”I’ve always had so much love for the found footage genre, with films like 2014’sCreepand the OGParanormal Activitybeing huge influences in how we went about shootingeverything.
We wanted to tell a fictional story withJim’s Room, but this is a very real issue.
Jim may not be real, but there are people on the streets and there are others who want totake advantage of them.
This film is dedicated to Michael (Masurkevitch)’s personal friend Jason. He sufferedfrom homelessness for years, and passed away shortly before we shot this.”
