SYNOPSIS:
A young girl, her dog and a stranger find themselves stranded together in a post apocalyptic world.
REVIEW:
Another short film, this time we have GRACE from writer/director Karen Nielsen.
Basically, it’s after the end of the world. The nature of the the apocalypse isn’t made clear, and really doesn’t matter. A little girl named Grace (Jena Skodje) and her dog Maverick are traveling through what’s left of the planet and doing pretty darn good for themselves. Then they meet another survivor named William (Daniel Arnold) who seems to think they need his help.
Yea…they really don’t.
I really liked this one. Again, short and sweet and to the point. Miss Skodje is no stranger to acting and is quite good in this story.
Not much I can say without ruining stuff, so you’ll have to take my word for it and either watch it…or not.
Using my special short scale of one to five, five being awesome, I’m giving this film 4 puppies.
