SHOWTIME – Stephen King and Steven Spielberg go UNDER THE DOME

We already knew that Steven Spielberg picked up the rights to Stephen King’s epic novel UNDER THE DOME. We just didn’t know what he was going to do with it but that changes tonight. We now know that the two Steve’s are heading over to SHOWTIME where the network that brings us DEXTER will try their hand at adapting KING.

The actual details are actually pretty sparse but it appears as if it will be done in an episodic fashion. No word on director or stars or even a writer yet but that should all be forth coming pretty soon.

Personally I loved UNDER THE DOME, some of King’s best work in recent memory and it was one long book coming in at a little over 1000 pages but it was a real page turner and in the hands of the right director this one could seriously rock.

I’ll keep you all up to date so keep it here.
