Is THE MIST Heading To Weekly TV?

News is out that Frank Darabont may be getting ready to bring THE MIST back as a 10 part TV series. According to an article posted by the LA TIMES it would appear that The Weinstein Company has ordered up a whole truck load of new TV projects and one of them is a new horror project. Remember, they are already working with MTV bringing a SCREAM based TV show to reality. It would appear as if the same may be happening to THE MIST.

Really curious as to where they would head with a MIST TV series, lots of possibilities and I think Darabont has proven he knows how to bring horror to TV so I’m hoping this one makes it in front of the camera.
