Producers Eric Martinez and Curt Fulster are thrilled to reveal a terrifying first glimpse behind the scenes of their upcoming found-footage feature, Last Look. Directed by A.J. Bennett, the film blends the high-stakes suspense of a supernatural card game with the visceral, raw intensity of modern horror.

 

Last Look follows a high-profile social media influencer whose life—and local coffee shop—is turned into a living nightmare. After discovering a mysterious deck of battle-style collectible cards, he becomes trapped in a hellish game where the stakes are literal. Every card drawn summons a new, grotesque creature directly into his reality, turning his sanctuary into a hunting ground.

We wanted to capture that childhood sense of wonder found in games like Jumanji and twist it into something unrecognizable and terrifying. The audience will feel the same anticipation the protagonist does—dreading exactly what creature is going to crawl out of the next card.

The Stakes of the Game:
The film centers on five distinct cards, each more dangerous than the last. As the influencer documents the escalating chaos on camera, the line between his digital world and the physical horror blurring. The tension culminates with the final, titular card: “Last Look.”
