THERE’S SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE CHILDREN – JANUARY 2023 Release

Paramount Home Entertainment will release the supernatural, horror, thriller film THERE’S SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE CHILDREN on Digital and On Demand on January 17, 2023 and on MGM+ on March 17, 2023. The film is part of the Blumhouse Television and MGM+ deal to produce eight original films together. Building on Blumhouse Television’s success with the Welcome to the Blumhouse movies slate for Amazon and Into the Dark anthology series for Hulu, the deal is the first-of-its-kind for MGM+, which is adding films to its growing slate of premium original content.

THERE’S SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE CHILDREN  stars an ensemble cast of Alisha Wainwright (“Raising Dion”), Zach Gilford (The Purge: Anarchy), Amanda Crew (“Silicon Valley”), and Carlos Santos (“Gentefied”). The film is directed by Roxanne Benjamin (Southbound, Body At Brighton Rock) and written by T.J. Cimfel & Dave White (Intruders). The film was executive produced by Josh Reinhold, Jeremy Gold, Chris McCumber and Jason Blum.

SYNOPSIS:  When Margaret (Wainwright) and Ben (Gilford) take a weekend trip with longtime friends Ellie (Crew) and Thomas (Santos) and their two young children (Guiza and Mattle), Ben begins to suspect something supernatural is occurring when the kids behave strangely after disappearing into the woods overnight.
