It was a beautiful day in the Lehigh Valley. Several events happening on the same day including the Roasting Ears of Corn Festival, Lehigh Valley Pagan Pride, Levitt Pavilion Summer Concert Series, Autumn Hawk Watch, and more. PA Horror Con and Film Festival started it’s first day strong. Saturday, August 20, 2022, the Delta Hotel in Breiningsville, PA was packed with celebrity guests, vendors, and fans looking to meet their favorite star or pick up a cool collectible.

The guests included Dana DeLorenzo, Tony Moran, Tom Savini, Felissa Rose, Butch Patrick, Lauren-Marie Taylor, Beverly Randolph, Lar Park Lincoln, Miko Hughes, Kassie DePaiva, Richie Ramone, Jon Abrahams, Diana Barrows, Bob Elmore, America Olivio, Lochlyn Munro, Dave Sheridan, Catherine Corcoran, Father Evil, American Grim, and Lord Damian McDonovan.

The 1973 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale owned by Ash Williams in Ash vs Evil Dead was on display in front of the Delta Hotel. Fans were outside taking photos with the car.

It’s always fun at conventions especially when you run into friends, I saw familiar friends, met some new friends. Some of the vendors had some incredible stuff for sale. The cosplayer came out in full-force as Haunt season has also started, technically for some of us, Halloween is year-round, and for some people it starts on July 5^th. For some people it’s a way of life. Pennsylvania has a lot of great haunted attractions including: The Waldorf Estate of Fear, Reaper’s Revenge Haunted Hayride, Eastern State Penitentiary etc.

Some of the vendors included: Buffalo Bill’s House: The Silence of the Lambs Filming Location. Toruga.Productions, Ruined Creations, by Lauren Ruins, David Willingham/Artist, Drew Pizzo and David Ulinitz from Kreepsville, From Ashes to Empire, Joshua Sigler, The Art of Creation by Brian Dunn.

From Ashes to Empire’s Lee Platt is having an event in Flemington, New Jersey on Sunday, August 28, 2022 from 9AM-4PM. It will be at the Flemington Elks Lodge, 163 Route 31, Flemington, NJ 08822 with Special Guests, vintage collectibles, toys, comics, records, cards and more. Door prices. It’s $3 or a non-perishable item (pet/person) to get in. It benefits Tabby Cat Rescue, ST. Hubert Dog Rescue & Flemington Area Food Pantry. If you are interested contact: 908-392-8245.

The Delta Hotel also had a special drinks menu set up for PA Horror Con. Some of the drinks included The Autopsy, Banana Splits, Death Row, and Summer Camp Lemonade. The staff at the Delta Hotel is incredible. The staff and volunteers working for PA Horror Con and Film Festival did an amazing job.

http://www.newjerseyhorrorcon.com/ New Jersey Horror Con and Film Festival will be held on September 16^th, 17^th, and the 18^th at the Showboat in Atlantic City, New Jersey. They are having The Rocky Horror Picture Show reunion with the incredible cast Nell Campbell, Barry Bostwick, and Patricia Quinn. Eric Roberts and Tom Savini are scheduled to attend as well. Tickets will be available at the door for this event. (Cash Only).
