This is episode 41 recorded February 18, 2013. Join Doc Rotten this week with extra-special guest co-host, Lil Rotten. The youngest member of the Rotten family steps up to the mic to bring her uniquely qualified perspective on this week’s selection of monster films. They also take a quick peek at the trailer for Monsters University, the sequel to the hit Disney-Pixar film, Monsters, Inc.

Beautiful Creatures is made to capitalize upon the young adult audience that has given life to Twilight and Hunger Games and the like. For that reason, Lil Rotten is here to share her thoughts on this romantic supernatural tale full of witches and teen angst.
Next up is the trailer for Disney’s next Pixar release Monsters University. The trailer shows how the film will follow Mike Wazowski (Billy Crystal) and James P. Sullivan – Sully (John Goodman) as they meet for the first time in college training to be the scarers they will become in Monsters, Inc.
Both Doc and Lil Rotten missed Hotel Transylvania last fall (instead they caught Paranorman, score!) but they are here today to review the DVD/VOD release. Adam Sandler stars as Count Dracula and Selena Gomez is his daughter Mavis. In the animated hit, Dracula is running a successful hotel for wayward monsters free of humans until a young man named Jonathan (Andy Samberg) wanders through the front doors.
