Motionless in White – Exclusive Details on New Release

The band recently completed the first round of recording with legendary producer Tim Skold (Marilyn Manson), and will finish recording in Orlando, FL this April with Jason Suecof (Trivium, August Burns Red, All That Remains) for their highly-anticipated upcoming second album, slated for release in fall of 2012. The follow-up to their acclaimed debut album Creatures, the upcoming full-length has already been tipped by Alternative Press as one of their Most Anticipated Albums of 2012. The band has also been highlighted as a band to watch this year in the recent issues of Metal Hammer and Rock Sound magazines.

nominations for Best Video (for “Creatures”) and Best Breakthrough Act. Having just returned from Soundwave Festival in Australia and dates with Marilyn Manson, and with the European Edition of their acclaimed album Creatures set for release in Europe on March 26th, the band are already taking their gospel global in 2012. Motionless In White has just kicked off their U.S. tour with Asking Alexandria, and have two SXSW performances in Austin, Texas this week. Catch them on March 15th at the Artery Foundation SXSW Showdown 2012 at Red 7 (3:30pm) and the FIM / Metal Hammer showcase at The Dirty Dog Bar (8pm). The band will be joining the Vans Warped Tour 2012 line up for the entire summer.

The video was named by AOL Noisecreep as one of the Top Ten Heavy Metal Videos of 2011, and FEARnet’s Most Shocking Music Video of 2011. Frontman Chris Motionless also made a recent appearance on TLC’s reality tattoo show NY Ink.
