Blind filmmaker’s Free Horror Tale – Available for Limited Download

Comic book writer-turned-film director Joseph M. Monks (The Bunker) announced that CHASERS, the first story from his upcoming horror anthology, Stuff Outa My Head 2, is available for free via his official movie site, www.sightunseenpictures.com. The story, a modern-day tale of urban betrayal, revolves around a Greenwich Village up-and-comer whose life has begun to spiral out of control. When he visits Mondo Video, a trendy hipster outlet catering to alternative tastes and fetishes, his life takes a decidedly queasy turn.

“The idea started out with my Kickstarter supporters in mind, says Monks. I wanted to put up something to thank those who helped in the effort to complete The Bunker. Then I thought, why not make it a present for fans old and new?”

Stuff Outa My Head 2, due out in spring, 2012, is the follow-up to the successful Stuff Outa My Head, featuring stories by Monks and illustrations by horror legend Bernie Wrightson. The anthology spawned two film properties “Chance Meeting”, which was produced in 2003 and used as a television pilot, and p0rn, which has been optioned.

Monks debut feature, The Bunker, will be released domestically in May by Commodity Films. Foreign sales rights are currently being negotiated.
