Update on Cannibal Holocaust II

Italian director Ruggero Deodato who is known best for his gore filled films is back at it again.  He is working on getting the cast in place for Cannibal Holocaust II and has tapped horror veteran David Hess as his leading man.  It’s been three decades since these two worked together on The House on the Edge of the Park and Body Count.

Cannibal Holocaust II is a follow up to the original story of a group of New York Filmmakers that disappear in the Amazon Rainforest.  Not much else is known yet of this sequel but you can guarantee that it will be watched closely as Cannibal Holocaust is one of the most iconic disturbing films ever made.

Production on this sequel is set to begin in spring of 2011.
