AMC’S ‘The Walking Dead’ made basic cable television history once again after the season one finale viewer numbers topped those of it’s recording breaking premiere. Approximately four million viewers in the adult 19 to 49 year old demographic tuned in for Sunday night’s brain eating bonanza and the show has been dubbed “the most watched drama series in basic cable history for the demo.”
‘The Walking Dead’ is also a landmark series for the cable network because it is the first program that AMC owns all the rights to and one thing is for sure, even with the over saturation in today’s media, people are still watching and loving zombies.
