New Children’s Book: THE GIRL WHO BUILDS MONSTERS

I’m excited to announce THE GIRL WHO BUILDS MONSTERS, a new children’s book I illustrated, written by Brian James Freeman!  It’s a timeless tale for all ages about a young girl named Emma who finds some rejected doll parts in her grandfather’s doll factory and assembles them into her own ‘monster dolls’. She loves these special dolls and finds out just how special they are when a couple of burglars sneak into their home one night…

Published by Cemetery Dance, it will be out in September and can be preordered now. It will be available as a trade hardback as well as a special signed & slipcased hardcover limited edition, which includes 32 extra pages of bonus material featuring sketches, production art and notes. Find out more about the book and where to order from at http://thegirlwhobuildsmonsters.com

I’ll be posting artwork for the book, including various sketches and production art, on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/thegirlwhobuildsmonsters/ so follow for some exclusive art peeks!

  1. This looks really cool! But I’m not sure if I’d give it to my kids. But maybe it’s totally harmless. Guess I’ll have to check it out and see myself. Even If I’ll never give it to my kids I’ll definetly enjoy it myself. :)
