When 25-year-old Mia Hoffman changed her testimony as a state witness and allowed a cop-killer to go free, she was vilified.
Rejected by her friends, harassed by the police, and dismissed by the medical profession, she seeks out a famous celebrity therapist who specializes in treating PTSD. Using increasingly provocative psychological techniques, the therapist probes Mia’s suppressed memories for answers. But the goals of therapist and client soon become wildly divergent.

Their strong wills and fragile grasps on reality lead to terrifying rabbit-holes of suspenseful showdowns, each more frightening than the other.
