AWA Studios, is a comic publisher and entertainment studio founded by Marvel and NBA alumni, funded by James Murdoch’s Lupa Systems, Liz Murdoch’s Sister Group and Lightspeed Venture Partners. As COVID-19 grinds print comic book publishing to a halt, AWA is mobilizing to produce and distribute digital comics for online readers.
