REVIEW:

More short films, kiddies! Today we have CAN YOU HEAR IT?, a short film from the Warsaw Film School.

This was really beautiful to watch, and unfortunately its not in English, there are no subtitles, and I can’t read the credits. Couldn’t even find any info on-line about it.

A young girl is cleaning a house. Not sure if she lives there, or is  part of a hired staff. She enters a room with a record player, and starts to play the record on the turntable. Someone else enters the room and she turns it off. Once that person leaves, the girl gets on with the cleaning.

The record player, however, will not be ignored.

This was really interesting to watch. From the camera angles and lighting to the sound production and editing, this is a beautifully prepared short film. Even if I likely missed some important story points due to the language barrier, I enjoyed it immensely.
