HOLLYSHORTS FILM FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES THEIR ESTEEMED 2020 JURY
Entertainment Industry Leaders From Multiple Mediums To Decide Which Short Films Will Qualify For Oscar Gold
HollyShorts Film Festival has assembled a revered group of over 40 industry leaders to judge the 16th edition of the festival. The 30 awards, including the three Oscar®-Qualifying categories Grand Prix Best Short Film, Best Live Action, and Best Animation, will be announced during the virtual Awards Ceremony on Sunday, November 15th at 5:00pm PST.
Get Out Executive Producer Shaun Redick (Founder, Impossible Dream Entertainment), Inherent Vice’s Yvette Yates Redick (Partner, Impossible Dream Entertainment), and Sharon Lawrence (NYPD Blue) have returned to judge the short film festival and will be joined by first-time judges including Tom Ortenberg (Open Road), HSFF alum Janina Gavankar (The Way Back), Dear White People producer Effie Brown, and writer Winter Tekenos-Levy who wrote for the multi-Emmy winning hit Schitt’s Creek.
