Her Name was Christa Release Announcement

Without a doubt the best movie of the year in my opinion was Her Name was Christa and I am pleased to announce that it will be released in February of 2020. The movie is about a lonely man that pays a prostitute to pretend to be his girlfriend and they end up falling for each other only for tragedy to strike. However, he doesn’t let a little thing like her death get in the way of their relationship and decides to continue it, with heartbreaking results.

This movie-which was written and directed by James L. Edwards (who also stars) and features some amazing performances by Shianne Day, Drew Fortier, Rick Jermain, and several others- is something special and is guaranteed to leave you in tears after everything is said and done. Beautiful, haunting, and touching in its own unique way, this is one of those films that stays with you long after the end credits have started to roll.

Her Name was Christa will be released on February 14th, 2020 and will be limited to 500 DVDs that includes over 90 minutes of extras as well as an ultra-limited version run of only 100 that will include a Blu-ray version of the film as well.
